Russian Scientists Have Found a Way to Destroy Coronavirus with Radiation

01/12/2021

“Rambler” reports that representatives of Ural Federal University and specialists of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan have found out that molecules of the virus can be destroyed by mild radiation exposure. In their opinion, the human body remains unaffected by such exposure.

In fact, they are referring to RNA of the virus. Anatoliy Zatsepin, Professor of Ural Federal University, suggests that the RNA penetrating the human body gets deformed and, thus, becomes even more susceptible to radiation.

The scientist states that low-dose radiation exposure can destroy infection while sparing healthy cells of the body. The idea was initially proposed by a research team from Uzbekistan headed by Boris Oksengendler. At the present moment the team is collaborating with their colleagues from Ural State University to develop an ingenious method to treat COVID-19.

Prof. Zatsepin believes that radiation can be used not only to treat coronavirus infection but also to manage other infections and COVID-19 mutations. Furthermore, low-dose radiation can be prospectively used for disease prevention and disinfection of premises.

It should be noted here that in summer 2020 US researchers suggested that it could be possible to treat COVID-19 using radiation therapy. They reminded the public that at the beginning of the 20th century X-ray therapy was used to treat pneumonia.

Earlier, “Rambler” reported that a TV-doctor Alexander Myasnikov stated that Russian physicians had discovered benefits of use of interferons in coronavirus infection. He noted that clinical trials held by his hospital had revealed positive effects of interferon-gamma injected to treat severe COVID-19 and some other forms of pneumonia. And now medical specialists are investigating whether interferon-gamma formulated as nasal drops can prevent development of severe “COVID”.
