ICIM&B at the 13th All-Russian National Congress of Radiologists and Radiotherapists “Radiology - 2019”

Specialists of “International Center for Innovations in Medicine and Biotechnology” have participated in the All-Russian National Congress “Radiology”. The congress is a major Russian specialized event dedicated to radiodiagnostics and therapy. It was first held ten years ago under the guidance of S.K. Ternovoy, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and since then the congress has kept setting new tasks and proved to be extremely successful.

Today the All-Russian National Congress of Radiologists and Radiotherapists “Radiology” is the cornerstone of a large-scale forum “Medical Diagnostics” – the congress can boast of about four thousand participants from a hundred of cities and dozens of European, American and Asian countries.

The congress 2019 was dedicated to finding solutions to the issue of early diagnosis of malignancies and development of specific drugs and diagnostic equipment. In order to solve such an important issue, it was suggested that specialists should develop and implement screening programs. Such programs are already included to many treatment protocols for malignancies, such as malignant breast, lung and prostate tumors, and melanomas. Specialists say that an interdisciplinary approach should be undertaken and up-to-date equipment should be deployed in order to develop, implement and successfully use screening programs in oncology.
